Our minds have incredible power to direct how we experience life. Discoveries in neuroscience make it clear that we can grow and change at any stage of development. Scripture also informs us that we have the ability to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. There are no lost causes, but we must be willing to do the work of challenging default life practices that are stealing our joy.
It is my passion as an inspirational life coach to lead my clients to discover new beliefs, question thoughts that have not been serving them, evaluate daily habits, and learn how to makeover their mindset to get past the barriers to flourishing. When you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, I am confident that by listening to your story with genuine concern, sharing the principles I have learned from my own experiences and decades of study on the topic of mindset, that you will find yourself feeling more freedom and inner peace than you ever thought possible. Any work on a healthy mindset must include holistic mind-body-spirit practices to enhance well-being. The latest research on well-being describes the human gut as the second brain due to the connection between neurons in the digestive tract and the brain, which is biological evidence for what we already experience with food and mental/emotional health. When food is recognized as the fuel that runs the systems in the human body, there is a better chance that we will choose more nutritious food and avoid toxic foods that cause disease and disorders that manifest in all areas of life: physical (skin rash or body aching all over?), nutritional (digestive problems?), emotional (stressed out?), relational (lack of patience?), intellectual (dreaded brain fog?), financial (missed days of work?), spiritual (falling asleep during meditation or prayer?). We cannot control every environmental toxin around us but nearly all of us have total control over what goes into the grocery cart or at least we decide what to eat. Learning the basic rules of good nutrition, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep are essential to holistic health, and adding consistent exercise to increase strength and stability improves every area of life.
The research on exercise is very clear: people who exercise regularly enjoy better health than people who don't. Humans require both aerobic (cardio) and anaerobic (resistance training) exercise to be fit and flourishing. Working out at home has gained momentum as a convenient methodology with excellent results! We will talk about ways to incorporate more movement into our lives regardless of fitness level or those old worn-out excuses.
Change doesn't occur overnight, so it's easy to get discouraged and fall off the proverbial wagon, but my friend, you have what it takes to create new habits around mindset and holistic health, and I am here to help you make the transformation to greater well-being and inspire you to enjoy a more satisfying lifestyle that makes you feel good about YOU!
Human beings were designed to be in connection with one another. It is the greatest evil in the world to create division among humanity, and the most common place to find broken relationships is within the family. Peaceful hearts are the genesis for healing most of the problems we face in the world today, so working on our ability to develop and nurture healthy relationships is a very important part of personal growth coaching.
A brief introduction to attachment theory and discussion of trust and belonging will help to identify any personal challenges with limiting beliefs. Setting healthy boundaries, practicing self-care, working on forgiveness, control issues, and unconditional love, are all topics that are explored in this segment of coaching for personal growth. Self awareness of our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors replace patterns of denial and blame, which leads to more healthy relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and community members.
The outcome of inspirational life coaching is a more rewarding mindset, healthy lifestyle choices, and more beautiful connections. A greater sense of wellbeing and peace inspires confidence to pursue your purpose and God-given contribution to the world!

The deepest satisfaction in life is lessening the suffering of others and the greatest joy comes from using your unique passion and talent in service to others.
These statements are in sharp contrast to what the materialistic, consumer driven, self-absorbed world wants you to believe is true about happiness. Studies have shown that we are all about as happy as we choose to be and that the satisfaction we think we will have with fortune and fame frequently results in greater despair as demonstrated by some very tragic examples in the lives of celebrities. Most of us have tried the world's way of finding happiness and when we come up empty, we are drawn to finding the peace that surpasses understanding and leads to a life of greater fulfillment and joy.
Establishing a healthy mind-body-spirit lifestyle will lead to greater enjoyment of the people who come into our lives. As we form healing connections, there is a desire to give back from the overflow of a life well lived. This one precious life has meaning and purpose. Although what is meaningful changes throughout the seasons of our lives, continually discovering and sharing your passion for contribution completes the process of living with more joy and vitality.
